A Walk in the Park

$300.00

Glacier National Park, along with Yellowstone, saved the grizzly from extinction in the Lower 48, providing the last bastions of protected and expansive core habitat when the species cratered to just a few hundred bears south of Canada in the 1970s. That number is over 2,000 now, thanks to the inspired work of a broad conservation movement and the resilience of the Great Bear itself. But the ultimate goal of a single, fully-connected population remains.

8" X 10" original hand-colored woodblock print. Limited edition of 10.

Printed by hand on heavyweight Rives BFK 100% cotton paper. Hand colored with layers of luminous watercolor.

Each painted print is unique within the edition; thus, slight variations are part of the fun of it.
