Hand-painted 8” x 10” woodcut printed on a 1982 Takach press on 10” x 12.5” Rives BFK 90gsm paper. The woodblock print is then hand-painted with multiple washes of transparent watercolor to create an intimate piece. Inspired by this beautiful bird and the conservation work of biologists and landowners in the Blackfoot Valley, Montana.
