Vital Ground’s work for wild grizzlies and all things wild is the blossoming of one couple’s dream. Doug and Lynne Seus, wild-hearted carers of great bears born in captivity or orphaned as cubs, dedicated their lives to the grizzly when they founded Vital Ground in 1990. Now, 35 years and over 1 million acres of conservation impact later, they have etched an indelible impression on the landscapes of grizzly country.
